LIFE AS ACTIVISM originated out of a community need for action, protest, and solidarity. We began this feature seeking works centralized around the theme of #ResistTrump, and now we are moving towards a more global mentality.
Of course we still want your prose and poems that relate to this past U.S. election. But, we look forward to publishing narratives that explore and shed light upon underrepresented situations in the very near future.
We are particularly interested in work that tackles issues such as:
- the lack of safe drinking water in Flint, Michigan,
- human trafficking,
- the immigrant experience, and
- life as a journalist or scientist working in Trump Nation.
