Cleaver is proud to announce that CATHERINE MOSIER-MILLS, a senior at Radnor High School in suburban Philadelphia, has been named a finalist and winner in the 2014 YoungArts competition in the short story writing category.
Catherine’s work, along with that of 687 other finalists, merit winners, and honorable mentions, was chosen from over 11,000 applications received from young visual artists, dancers, musicians, actors, and creative writer across 46 states. She will join fellow finalists in Miami during the week of January 6 to attend masterclasses, performances, workshops, and readings.
During YoungArts weeks, finalists’ work will be judged and awarded additional scholarships. She will also be considered to be designated as one of the twenty Presidential Scholars in the Arts, awarded each year by a White House-appointed commission.
